Limerick competitionOur first ever limerick competition is designed to appeal to the so far unexplored poetic nature of health and safety practitioners. Naturally the subject matter is intended to be loosely around health and safety, but we are open to broad interpretations of that theme (but bear in mind this is a family publication). What is a limerick? Just to refresh your memory, here’s a classic example: There was a young lady of Niger You get the idea: the first, second and fifth lines must rhyme with each other, and contain the same number of stressed syllables. The third and fourth lines also rhyme, with fewer syllables. Oh, and it’s meant to be amusing, naturally. We will publish the best of them, and we’ll dig around in our sack of prizes too, but your prime motivation must surely be literary fame and glory. Seize the chance!
