Criteria for entry to this diary

The diary aims to list occupational health & safety events to be held in New Zealand within the next six months. We encourage event organisers to inform us of potentially eligible events.

All events are listed at Safeguard's discretion. We reserve the right to decline to list events which compete directly with our own events, or which we regard as unsuitable in any way.

Most events will satisfy three initial criteria:
1. They take place in New Zealand.
2. They are to do with injury or illness prevention.
3. They are oriented towards the workplace.

We may list events which meet only two of those three criteria, provided we regard them as being of legitimate interest to health and safety practitioners.

Other criteria which an event must satisfy are:
4. The event is open to the public (members-only or in-house events will be excluded).
5. The event is not part of a regular scheduled training series.
6. If in our view the prime purpose of an event is to make a profit then it will only be listed if the event has been advertised in Safeguard or related publications.
