Entries are now open!

Proudly supported by the Department of Labour, the New Zealand Workplace Health & Safety Awards recognises businesses, both large and small and individuals, who champion safety.

The awards acknowledge people and teams who demonstrate commitment and achievement in improving health and safety in the workplace. They give national recognition to good ideas, superior systems, great initiatives and hard-working people who have made a difference.

Entry is free and open to any person, group of people or organisation regardless of industry sector, organisation size or geographic location.

Previous award winners have discovered that winning an award can:

  • Motivate and raise awareness of health and safety within your organisation
  • Gain recognition from your customers, suppliers, shareholders and peers
  • Provide a benchmark for your health and safety performance and set an agenda for continuous improvement

The 2010 awards are for initiatives which took place primarily in 2009, but which may have commenced up to a year earlier. The closing date for entries is 30 April 2010.
