INSTANT ACCESS (NZ) LTD was fined $15,000 under s.15 and ordered to pay $678.75 in reparations after a mobile scaffold fell 63 metres, striking a parked car. An inspection before the scaffolding was put up had identified high winds as a hazard and recommended the use of anchor bolts. The bolts were supplied but not installed. The painter who had been using the scaffold had stopped work on the day because the wind was too strong (Wellington DC, July 7).
