A kindergarten has been ordered to pay nearly $100,000 to a former employee who was found to have been unjustifiably dismissed after she laid a complaint of bullying.

Stuff reports the unnamed kindergarten was ordered to pay $15,000 compensation for humliation, as well as covering her legal fees and nearly 17 months' lost wages - a sum which her lawyer said amounted to around $98,000.

The Employment Relations Authority found the teacher, "Mrs T", had been bullied by her manager, who was found to have a track record of bullying others.

In another bullying case, Stuff reports a mortuary worker and her employer, the Auckland District Health Board, have been ordered to return to mediation.
